The Horizon Group formed through amalgamation

orizon Signs and sister company Horizon BSF merged in February 2012 with several of their other companies to form The Horizon Group in an effort to deliver a diverse but cost effective range of products to their expanding client rosters.


A requirement to be self sufficient resulted in investment in a powder coating plant - and Horizon Powder Coating was formed. This gave the company greater control and the flexibility to ensure specific delivery dates were met in addition to the ability to powder coat for other customers.


As demand grew it became apparent to directors Keith Ball, Ross Ball and George Foster that the formation of a centralised group of companies would allow them to make cost savings on behalf of their client base by amalgamating several services into The Horizon Group which comprises Horizon Signs (trade signage); Horizon BSF (products to schools and HE colleges); Horizon PTI (transport sector signage); Horizon Fabrications (bespoke metalwork); and Horizon Powder Coating. The Group is able to offer a one stop shop for customers requiring off the shelf signage right through to the design and manufacture of bespoke products. Contractors working with schools are able to benefit from a supplier they can trust who can manufacture and install their own products. Furthermore, Horizon BSF offers customers the chance to benefit from the group’s buying power and their ability to make savings on less readily available items, deliver them in bulk and then install them.
