Cologne Show Review
HARDWARE FAIR closes with good results • Exhibitors, buyers and trade visitors report good business • High internationality and quality of trade visitors • Presentation of innovations, premieres and award-winners A high level of innovation, great internationality, increased order volume and satisfied exhibitors and visitors: After four
trade fair days, the 38th INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR COLOGNE closed with a good overall result. Around 53,500 trade visitors from 132 countries informed themselves over four days about the innovations and trends in this sector and conducted their business deals directly at the event itself. With 2,665 suppliers from 50 countries, the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR COLOGNE was once again the leading international business and innovation hub for the hardware sectors. The concentration on core expertise and competence, a new brand presentation, innovative trade fair formats and attractive programme ensured high levels of satisfaction among exhibitors and trade visitors alike at the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR COLOGNE 2012. Within the framework of the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR COLOGNE 2012, the positive sales trend within the individual industrial sectors over the
past year coupled with the simultaneous concentration within the markets and the trade, produced encouraging, concrete order volumes for the exhibiting companies. “Good business was done”, was the feedback from the companies, who presented a large number of trend-setting innovations to their customers. Major international buyers groups such as Lowe’s (USA) were also present in Cologne, as were the ranks of leading specialist dealers from Germany and abroad. The first-time cooperation with USETEC, which was held parallel to the event at the exhibition centre, ensured additional new, positive business impulses. There was also praise for the high quality of the trade visitors from Germany and abroad.
Tacwise Tacwise confirm that after exhibiting for many years now and for the last 3 shows in Hall 4.1 that this was one of the better shows with not necessarily the largest footfall, but for us better quality leads from genuine buyers from many countries & markets worldwide, now looking for alternative brands. Although Hall 4 is designated “ Industrial “, we were most impressed with the
number of major Companies in the DIY trade that also visited us from the UK, Europe and USA. The Tacwise brand continues
to grow in popularity and at the Show we launched our New Catalogue which includes a total of 88 new products which including a complete New Range of Air Tools tackers and nailers, New Fixings, and New Electric Tools. One Range which also proved
to be a show winner is the Gas Fuel Cells and Gas / Nail carry packs which are also compatible with most leading portable gas nailers, and with construction coming back to life in many countries these fast moving consumables are now in big demand. We are now of course busy
following up the leads & look forward to the next Show in 2014. For a copy of our New
Catalogue please complete the Reply Number with a request.
