s I write this, it’s a frankly ridiculous-for-Britain 18 degrees centigrade out- side. The birds are singing,
the sky is clear and blue, and I am chained to my desk, fully immersed and committed to bringing the latest information from the casino industry to you, our readers. Traditionally, the only winners when the weather is
excellent are shops selling barbecue equipment or beer; both admittedly are essentials, but leisure venues often suffer as people enjoy the beach or garden. In the UK, however, we have a new breed of casino; they’re attrac- tive to all ages, part of a larger leisure destination, and they know their market. We speak to Aspers COO Richard Noble about their latest success, in London, this issue. We can also be found on Facebook and Twitter (@CasinoInt), so come and join the party. Come on, what are you waiting for?
