ASADENA, JUST 11 MILES FROM DOWNTOWN Los Angeles, is known for hosting world-class events, including the annual Rose Parade. is fewer than 30 miles from LAX and Burbank Airport. Shuttles, buses, and light rail take visitors anywhere in the city and into the Greater Los Angeles area, and Pasadena’s pedestrian-friendly design makes it simple for attendees to walk to attractions, dining, and shopping from the convention center or their hotel. The city is home to 2,500 hotel rooms, and more than 1,200 of them are within walking dis- tance of the Pasadena Convention Center. The center, which recently underwent a $150-million expan-
sion, has been awarded LEED Gold certification, making it one of the greenest convention centers in North America. The facility features a 55,000-square-foot exhibit hall (expandable to 80,000 square feet), a 25,000-square-foot ballroom, 29 meeting rooms, the 3,000-seat
