IJTechnology, IOX Co., NGK Spark Plug Co., Osaka Municipal Technical Research Institute
(OMTRI), and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) have jointly realized ultra-fine wires with a line width of 5μm and specific resistivity of 8.1 μΩ • cm through the research commissioned by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). The wires were fabricated by direct pat- terning with an inkjet technology and a technology for reduction under extremely-low oxygen partial pressure. The wires are expected to contribute to the development of next-generation IC boards and micro printed circuit boards for cell phones and IC tags.
in itself – and also serves as an excellent primer to prepare the wheel for subsequent bespoke painting. By this STARCO is using the latest automotive nano- technology pre-treatment. The whole system is an environmentally friendly process due to the design and the nanotechnology implemented.

ince the beginning of this year, STARCO in Denmark has started using the new e-coat plant
that was installed and commissioned in Q4, 2011 at its wheel factory in Beli Manastir, Croatia. The e-coat facility is an electrostatic coating process, in which steel wheels are given a priming coat that will pre- vent rust and corrosion throughout the normal wor- king life of the wheel. The coating which is applied in this process serves as a rust prevention coating
Moreover, Starpharma announced the advance- ment of its drug delivery collaboration with US pharmaceutical corporation Eli Lilly and Company. Starpharma has a number of projects underway with Lilly to improve the delivery of small molecule and protein-based pharmaceuticals using Starpharma’s dendrimer technology. Starpharma also released its Appendix 4C - Quarterly Cashflow report for the period ended December 31, 2011. The cash balance at end of December 2011 was $49m, which includes proceeds of $35m (before costs) from the successful capital raising conducted in November 2011.
