lasma-Therm was awarded the distinguished five star rating from VLSIresearch, representing the
top performers among semiconductor equipment companies. The five star rating recognizes companies that received the highest ratings from their custo- mers and performed exceptionally across all rating categories including customer service, organizational performance, and equipment performance. Plasma- Therm is considered a top performer among semi- conductor equipment companies and joins a select group of companies so honored.
“We are very pleased by the VLSI 5 star rating,” said Rich Gauldin, Director of Customer Focus. “Accom- plishing this superior rating is testament to Plasma- Therm’s hard work and dedication in our immediate market.”
Moreover, Plasma-Therm has been named a finalist for the 2011 Manufacturer of the Year Award, a pre- stigious honor recognizing a commitment to excel- lence in the manufacturing business.
“We are very proud to have been selected as a Finalist for the Manufacturer of the Year Award. This achievement recognizes the hard work and dedica- tion of our entire team here at Plasma-Therm,” said Scott Craver, Director of Operations. “The prepara- tion for the judging process, analysis and evaluation of our business processes uncovered unexpected benefits. Not only did it identify the positive things we are doing, it also highlighted the areas where we need improvement; this will help us provide even greater value to our customers.”
Plasma-Therm is now offering customers online quick, easy and secure access to Product-Specific information through a new Customer Portal. This service enhancement gives Plasma-Therm’s custo- mers the ability to find and review work procedures for their specific system type and easily download instructions for in-house maintenance engineers. For added convenience, the Customer Portal is a web-based application, located on Plasma-Therm’s website under the Service/Support menu. Additions to the existing platform are scheduled in the future.
“We are constantly looking for ways to improve our customers’ experience. The launch of this new portal is further validation of Plasma-Therm’s commitment to partnering with our customers and making it easy for them to do business with us,” explained Arnie Colina, Global Customer Service Manager. “Laun- ching the customer portal is just one of the ways we’re enhancing our support infrastructure to ensure our customers’ ongoing success.”
