Employee Recognition & Service Awards
In his President’s Note at the beginning of this news- letter issue, our President and CEO Stan Sheetz talked about the many milestones we are celebrating from 2011, including achieving our most successful year in company history with record sales that exceeded $5.7 billion! As a team, it’s clear that we worked hard and accomplished a lot. Individually, the group of employees represented on
these pages celebrated personal milestones when they reached their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35-year Sheetz anniversaries. As we ring in the new year, we’d like to acknowledging this group of tenured employees and wish them well on the years ahead.
Red Hot Event
Nearly 900 employees traveled to Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Champion, PA, for our annual Employee Recognition and Service Awards event. As part of our focus on our passion for people, our theme was appropriately “U R Red Hot,” and we treated our service award winners and their guests accordingly! Eligible employees were invited to enjoy an all-expense paid, relaxing overnight stay with a guest. During their stay, this high-energy group enjoyed activities including horseback riding, climbing walls, hiking, golf, summer tubing, swimming, tennis, mountain biking, volleyball, yoga and zumba. Those who were looking to be a little more mellow chose from arcade games, bead crafts, chair massages, a cooking demo, handwriting analysis, the Monte Carlo casino, Sheetz trivia, a winery tour, manicures and pedicures. In the evening, everyone came together for a delicious meal and entertainment by Tres Lads band. And during a special ceremony, employees were recognized for their years of dedication to the company. Congratulations to our service award winners!

Dear Sheetz, I would like to thank Mr. Sheetz and everyone from Sheetz for the wonderful trip to Seven Springs. It was a wonderful two days as I was able to spend some quality time with my daughter who works for your company. It is so nice to see a company that takes so much interest in their employees.
