RICOSTA has succeeded in the balancing act of bringing trendy design and reliable quality to a common denominator. The new collection for autumn/winter 2012/13 convinces with a sporty and casual look and leaves nothing to be desired in respect of fit, materials and functionality.
Very demanding indeed! Princess today, punk girl tomorrow, pop star the day after - RICOSTA’s new collection for autumn/winter 2012/13 is as varied as young girls’ whims. Half shoes and ankle boots take on streetwear elements: studs and gloss applications as well as Lyra perforations or contrasting laces give the designs a “grown- up” feel. Narrower, slightly asymmetrical lasts set the scene for the new designs. The trick is in the detail: elaborately processed materials such as oiled leather with a slight pull-up look or broken up suede and corrected grain leather with dual colour effects emphasise the rugged but dressed look.
Light, durable and extremely flexible Cool farmer and casual biker boots with strong digital profile soles provide a perfect grip on every terrain. Functional details such as Tex and warm fleece lining ensure a pleasant foot climate. Canadian style snow boots brave subzero temperatures. The look is “very hot”: gleaming high-tech materials, glittering rhinestones and linings in iridescent neon colours will make any ice melt.

Be preppy & cool! The mix of sporty East Coast chic and rugged country details characterise the new RICOSTA collection for fashionable boys. “Never change a winning team” is the motto for the very successful skater crowd. They continue their sport in the winter but now with warm linings and Tex. Sporty Velcro/lace-up combinations, material mixes and 2 colour blocking give the designs an even more dynamic look in clear contrast to the classic Tex boots.
PEPINO – simply fantastic! Shoes for the first steps must meet the highest demands. This upcoming season PEPINO again succeeds with flying colours in making child appropriate shoes in a modern look with functional characteristics. The manufacturer from Donaueschingen uses only natural, contaminant- free materials. Lasts made in accordance with the proven WMS width measuring system also ensure that small feet grow healthily. Fashion and functionality are not excluded from the collection for autumn/ winter 2012/13. Quite to the contrary! The new half shoes and boots convince with a modern, trendy statement that deliberately does away with fussy decorations. The material statement is sporty to rugged. Buttery-soft suede or oiled leather make a solo appearance or team up excitingly with high quality high-tech materials.
