costs, but where’s the best place to start?

On April 10, 2012 Choctaw Electric Cooperative’s (CEC) energy saving specialists John Drake and Mark Zachary will address these questions and more during CEC’s first- ever energy saving workshop.

The workshop will take place at the CEC office in Hugo.

CEC is partnering with local community organizations to present the two-hour free program.

and local programs for members that qualify.

“With the consumption of electricity at an all time high, now is the time to start conserving,” said CEC’s John Drake. “Members who commit to better energy use habits today will be much better prepared for future

price increases.”

“And members who commit to using less energy don’t always have to sacrifice comfort,” he added.

Becoming educated about energy conservation through programs like CEC’s workshop is the first defense against rising energy costs—and you’ll save money. “Implement a few of our suggestions and you could easily save enough money to pay for at least one month’s electrical bill each year,” Drake said.
