Scholarship Opportunities


Institute offers a variety of tuition scholarships. Each application is evaluated using the same criteria and is awarded based on the applicant’s financial need, involvement in industry professional organizations, community service, and professional background.


national Scholarship The National Scholarship program provides financial assistance to participants attending Institute for the first time. Each year, Institute awards six $500 scholarships per site to assist with tuition. The applicant’s organization must be a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.


Regent Scholarship The Regent Scholarship program provides financial assistance to both first-year and returning participants. Regent scholarships are made possible by donations from attendees and volunteers to Institute site silent auctions and other on-site fundraising opportunities. Regent Scholarships are awarded to assist participants with tuition.


Sam’s Club® Scholarship


Sam’s Club will provide 20 full-tuition scholarships in 2012 to first-year attendees. Scholarships are only available to U.S. Chamber of Commerce members.


Constant Contact Scholarship Constant Contact will provide 5 full-tuition scholarships in 2012 to first-year attendees. Scholarships are only available to U.S. Chamber of Commerce members.


Shelia Lee Scholarship In 2012, Institute will award five full-tuition scholarships in memory of Shelia Lee, IOM, CCE, former chair-elect of Institute for Organization Management and president and CEO of the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce. These scholarships are presented in honor of her legacy to the program and industry. One scholarship will be awarded to a first-year attendee per site.

How To Apply To apply for a scholarship, applicants must complete the online scholarship application and should enroll for an Institute site. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 4, 2012, for all summer sites and November 30, 2012, for Winter Institute 2013.

Financial assistance and scholarships are also provided through some state chambers of commerce executives associations and societies of association executives. Please contact your local association or society for more information.
