WHAT WE DO
CONTACT ALDP
Whilst growth has been varied, providing and developing access to high quality, low threshold harm reduction services remains at the heart of what we do.
An important development for Ana Liffey was the integration of Progression Routes Initiative (PRI) into the organisation in 2008. With financial support from the State, the PRI team works with other organisations in the sector to provide practical, quality initiatives and free supports. This work will help strengthen professional standards, support co-operation and promote innovation in the sector.
The last five years have been challenging. The economic environment in which we prepared the last strategic plan changed dramatically during 2008;
yet we achieved many of our goals and many other aspirations were realised too, including service expansion into a second building in Middle Abbey Street.
We anticipate continuing challenges over the next three years. Not least because of the significant challenges to delivering on some of our goals, which include the development of a Medically Supervised Injecting Centre and a Crisis Residential Detox facility.
However, the Strategic Plan 2012- 2014 will enable us to keep a clear focus and our starting point (which is enshrined in our Vision, Mission and Values) remains the same.
