CHAIRPERSON’S FOREWORD


Five years ago – in 2007 – the Ana


Liffey Drug Project reached its 25th anniversary and published “Now & Next”, a five year strategic plan. Now as Ana Liffey enters its 30th


anniversary year, we are publishing its successor – Ana Liffey’s Strategic Plan 2012-2014.


In 2007 we did not anticipate the financial problems that now beset our country, nor the associated effects on our service users as well as on the voluntary sector.


Nonetheless we have been able to stand over our core aim as set out then – to continue to provide a supportive, non-judgemental service with an increasing harm reduction component, undertaken by well-trained highly expert staff and delivered through team work. We have created high quality employment
