Free My Beer Tailgaiting Efforts
This fall, Sheetz took the Free My Beer message to a very receptive crowd full of Steelers fans! Sheetz partnered with radio station, WDVE Pittsburgh for three tailgating events outside the Hard Rock Café in Station Square. For several hours before kickoff at Heinz Field, football fans wandering past our Free My Beer booth
enjoyed some free brewed coffee and hot chocolate. Employees from Sheetz stores in the Pittsburgh district gave away Free My Beer shirts and trinkets as part of our continuing grassroots campaign to overturn Pennsylvania’s outdated beer laws. Hundreds of attendees signed postcards urging legislators to bring Senator John Rafferty’s bill to a vote during the new term.
