In remembrance of George Bennett, assistant manager from Store #233, Manchester, PA, whom we lost to cancer on October 22.
As We Look Back
As we look back over time, We find ourselves wondering ... Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ... To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made To always give your very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We’re thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us.
Sadly missed, but never forgotten by all the staff at Store #233.
We had a particularly busy day in November when all the college kids went home for Thanksgiving. We had to work one person short due to a call-off. We had full screen orders all day, constant Sheetz Bros. Coffeez® orders and a continuous line to the coolers at the registers all day. Alice Pratt managed to get all temp logs done and when it came time for her to leave, she offered to stay for two hours longer so she could get all of her back-ups done and get our M•T•O® area back in good shape. Her motivation and dedication were awesome! She received a Super WOW pin for her hard work! — Stanley Adams, Assistant Manager, Store #318

12 Family Matters APRIL
Every year our community holds an annual Winterfest with activities for everyone. One activity is for local businesses to decorate a tree and the community votes for their favorite. Three of our employees—Jessica Nearhoof, Dawn Kline and Tim Michrina—got together and decorated a tree. We won 2nd place and a prime spot in the bank window for next year! We enclosed a photo to show everyone what a great job they did. We are so proud of them! —Teresa and everyone at Store #49, Portage, PA
The National Christmas tree visited Store #701, Mt. Jackson, VA,
on its way to the White House from Wyoming for the holidays. NACS, the National Association of Convenience Stores, sponsored the transportation of the tree and paid for the fuel at all stops along the way. They also selected Sheetz as one of the stops.

“Tanks for your support.” My name is Michelle Eichman. I was diagnosed with cancer on May 19. I had surgery in June and returned to work in July. I’d like to thank a few people who supported me during that time: Carol Trostle (my mom) works at Store #312, Mount Joy, PA. The employees from her store cooked my
family dinner for a week when I came home from the hospital. Thanks to my store manager and coworkers at Store #236, Marietta, PA, who kept things rolling along
until I came back. Thanks for all the cards and flowers. I love you guys. Thanks to District Manager Rainey Hengst and the managers of District #31 for the calls and text
messages. And thanks to my District Manager Steve Johnson, who stepped in and made sure my store was solid until I got back. When they say Sheetz is one big family, they’re right. Thanks, everyone!
