Sheetz was a premiere sponsor for two big golf outings in State College, PA, this summer. For the seventh year, the Sheetz foodservice team set up and served
breakfast and lunch for all golfers at the Coaches vs. Cancer outing at the Blue and White golf courses in State College, PA. The Sheetz Bros. Coffeez truck was also there serving up cold beverages to participants. This year’s event eclipsed $185,000 in net funds, a record year for the event. We were back in State College just two weeks later to provide lunches for
golfers at the Second Mile golf event. Second Mile is a statewide non-profit organization for children who need additional support and who would benefit from positive human contact. The Second Mile plans, organizes, and offers activities and programs for children, and adults who work with them, to promote self-confidence as well as physical, academic, and personal success.

A nachoz grandé for Kevin? Maybe a caramel mocha to warm Angela’s icy heart? Or Dwight in a Free My Beer t-shirt? Last season, faithful viewers of NBC’s “The Office” had regular
opportunities to spot our distinctive Sheetz logo and packaging in the hands and on the desks of their favorite characters. Recently, the prop master for the show contacted our marketing
department asking for a fresh supply of Sheetz gear and permission to use our brand once again on upcoming episodes. Our Public Relations Manager Monica Jones shipped off a huge box of Sheetz bags, shirts, mugs, and other trinkets as well as a list of our snack, chips, and ice cream sku’s, as requested. The new season premieres Thursday,
Sept. 23rd. We’ll keep you updated on air dates for any Sheetzified episodes.
