Bow Waves, Galway Sailing and Powerboat School is the leading marine training centre in the west of Ireland, based in Galway a warm and vibrant city. We are ISA/RYA recognised. All instruction is given by the Principal, Martin Northey. In addition to RYA Motor & Sail Cruising courses on the sea school’s boats, Martin also offers ‘own boat tuition’ from marinas throughout Portugal and Spain. It is now a requirement for British owners of motor cruisers and yachts in Portugal to hold ICC licenses, for which Martin offers training and testing.
