We provide a complete range of high quality RYA sail and power training from a beginner’s sailing weekend to professional Yachtmaster courses. Shorebased courses are held at Chatham and central London. A comprehensive cruising programme around Britain and Ireland offers quality sailing experience and adventure.
Being close to the continent our cruising ground is France, Belgium, Holland, Thames Estuary, North Sea, English Channel and their associated inland waterways. Our prices are œ120 plus VAT per person per day with a variety of courses from one day upwards. We offer theory and practical courses all year in comfortable surroundings with expert tuition and accommodation.
Established for over 10 years we ensure you have as much fun as possible whilst learning how to sail/improve sailing skills, safely and happily. We provide quality yachts, skippered by handpicked instructors, selected because they have excellent coaching/ communication skills and a personality! They are naturally good sailors! We teach in St Lucia and Cowes from £199 Start Yachting.
Flying Fish provides RYA training from bases at Cowes and in Sydney Harbour for the best sailing in both hemispheres. Professional training options for all levels from beginner to pro. Courses range from two day Start Yachting to 22 week Yachtmaster Ocean. STCW95 safety and survival tickets included. We provide an international job placement and career advice service for graduates.
Cowes Sailing School specialises in individual classroom, theory and own boat tuition. Practical courses for groups of two or more are fl exible for those with a busy lifestyle. Children with accompanying adult are welcome. Race training is available on either school yacht or customer’s own yacht. The yacht is well maintained, the instructors professional and the food good.
Our fun approach on comfortable yachts is aimed to help you get more out of your time afl oat. Logical steps develop your skills and confi dence throughout your courses. Extra practice time and more space is achieved through reducing student numbers to four from the usual fi ve. So why not let us help you get out on the Wetstuff?
Universal Sailing School offers the full range of RYA Practical Courses and other activities designed to broaden and build experience. Based in Port Hamble our principal teaching yacht is a Beneteau Oceanis 37 (2008). Fitted with heating, she is in immaculate condition and very well maintained. We also offer yachts for bareboat and skippered charter.
