We are a specialist Powerboat and Motor Cruising school offering the full range of RYA Courses including Helmsman, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper & Yachtmaster aboard our new Jeanneau Prestige 32 Flybridge. Old School Sailing is equipped to instruct all Practical and Theory courses, from Novice to Yachtmaster Ocean. We teach traditional skills whilst embracing modern technology. Courses are run either in our well-found Moody 376, or in our well-equipped classroom. We also incorporate RYA training skippered charters if required.


Brixham sea school offers high standards of instruction, boat equipment, cleanliness and catering all combining to make every course a pleasurable experience affording clients the comfort they require to maximise their learning experience. This philosophy also extends to our shore based courses which are run a few hundred yards away from the pretty harbour in the centre of Brixham, Devon.


Skill development and confi dence building to enjoy safe motor cruising is our aim. Friendly and personal tuition at all levels, one to one or groups, in your boat or mine.
