ou’ll never be short of deck-chair space in Greater Yarmouth.
From Hopton-on-Sea in the south to Winterton-on-Sea in the north, our beautiful coastline has 15 miles of clean, soft, sandy beach. Whether the tide is in or out, there’s plenty of room for building sandcastles, flying kites, kicking balls or settling down in a deck chair.
We’ve got enough beaches to give one per day a go on your stay in Greater Yarmouth. From deserted beaches with not a soul in sight to fun family beaches, with wind-break or deck-chair hire and boat trips to Scroby Sands. Choose your ideal beach using our handy beach guide. Several beaches have RNLI lifeguards watching over them in summer, giving you peace of mind.
Lots of people just enjoy a walk on the beach. And to ensure that everyone has access to the sand, specially designed beach wheelchairs are available to hire from the Tourist Information Centre on Marine Parade, just opposite Central Beach.
