Quality accommodation in GREATER YARMOUTH

All accommodation advertised in this brochure has been quality assessed by Quality in Tourism on behalf of VisitEngland (Enjoy England) or the AA, or has recently applied for a grading and is awaiting assessment. Ratings may change during the year and the most up to date grade will be shown on our website.

When choosing your accommodation, look for the Quality Rose or the AA sign and the accompanying rating at the top right-hand side of our advertisements.

Serviced accommodation is split into Holiday Village, Hotel and Guest Accommodation categories. Self catering accommodation is split into Holiday, Chalet, Touring and Camping Parks and Self Catering Flats and Cottages.

SERVICED ACCOMMODATION Look for HHH or AAHHH

Hotels have a minimum of six bedrooms but most are likely to have 20+ rooms. Hotels have to be licensed and offer dinner at least five nights a week, all rooms must be en suite or have private bathrooms. Hotels at higher grades will offer room service and a permanently staffed reception area.

Guest Accommodation, Guest House and Bed & Breakfast accommodation ranges from simple to luxurious, from smaller establishments with perhaps two or three rooms to larger properties that may be licensed or offer evening meals.

For all serviced accommodation, it may be that exceptional bedrooms, bathrooms and customer service are on offer, but that the establishment cannot physically achieve a higher grading perhaps because it is a period property and cannot install en suite bathrooms, or because it does not offer room service or a 24-hour reception.

SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION Look for HHH or AA

For self catering flats and cottages the layout, design, cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation, range and quality of kitchen equipment is assessed.

Chalet ratings reflect the overall quality of the chalets on offer.

Holiday, Touring and Camping Park ratings reflect the overall quality of the park and its amenities.
