BEING SECURE

Members of the REC have to confirm their compliance with a whole list of standards – available from www.rec.uk.com – all designed to offer peace of mind to the Client and assurance to the support staff that they will be treated fairly and without prejudice. Whilst this registration governs many of our basic principles, being independent allows us to go further. Many of Us within Eyears are parents and our bench marks for recruitment have always included the question “Would we leave our child in your care”? If we’re uncomfortable with the answer to this question then that candidate will not progress any further. All temporary support staff go through the same process:

• Face to face interview • Original documents to prove identity • Original qualification certificates • An enhanced CRB disclosure from Eyears • Check with GTC for registration where applicable

• References from and including last or most recent employer (we request 3 as standard)

Once all this documentation is back and they’ve completed this process to our satisfaction we’ll then start looking for work for them. We don’t recruit anyone on the strength of a CV alone. We don’t just recruit people because of a qualification. We recruit people because we think they’re great at their job and will serve Eyears reputation in the manner we have become known for – excellence.
