Royal Warrant for the supply of decorating materials to The Queen. To qualify for application of a Royal Warrant, a company must have supplied the Warrant Grantor with goods over a period of at least seven years; we have supplied decorating materials to a number of royal households, Buckingham Palace,
including for many
decades. An application is then lodged for consideration at the annual meeting of the Royal Household Tradesmen's Warrants Committee. A company has to demonstrate the highest standards in both operational ability and in ethical approach to doing business. A proven high level of service is an essential component in order to be granted a Royal Warrant. Indeed over a period of time our business was scrutinised by the Lord Chancellor’s department as well as by an external environmental consultancy. If the committee agrees with the application, a recommendation is made to the head of the relevant household. The final decision is made by the appropriate member of the royal family. A copy of our Centenary Company History book was sent to the Lord Chancellor’s office - who knows, perhaps it was passed to the Queen! We are presently looking at how we can make use of the royal
