Amel Super Maramu 53 1997 • $360,000

during my own south pacific cruise I was in close company with an Amel 53 for the good part of a year. I came to realize that the Amel 53 Super Maramu is one of the best conceived production offshore cruising monohulls in existence. Just ask any Amel owner. More loyal owners are hard to find. Jonathan is an extraordinary blue water cruising vessel. The Super

Maramu’s unique engine and mechanical space is isolated from the main cabin – sound insulated and watertight, with exceptional stand up access to the engine, genset, filters, pumps and electrical system. On deck, her cockpit is spacious, protected by a hard dodger and bimini which can easily be stowed forward and out of the way. Below decks, the spacious and comfortable interior is finished in striking African ma- hogany. Two private staterooms and sea berths in the aft passageway and main salon accommodate six. There is ample load carrying capacity above and below decks for long cruises. Equipped with an Onan 6.5kw genset, watermaker, bow thruster, reverse cycle heat/air conditioning, washer/dryer, B&G and Furuno electronics, Raymarine st7000 autopi- lot, wind and solar power generators, Achilles dinghy with outboard, eight-person liferaft, wireless automated mob alert system, and loads of spares, Jonathan is prepared to head for blue water and far off shores. Jonathan has been extremely well cared for and pride of ownership

shows. The bilges are spotless, the interior wood is in near bristol condi- tion, and the engine room is tidy and clean. Since her owners are done cruising for the foreseeable future, all the spares, tools and much more will go with the boat. She truly is turnkey.
