Letters Attention Cal 20 Sailors Hey, Cal 20 Sailors! I presented our dry moorage rate

proposal to the Tacoma Yacht Club board of trustees and got our new dry moorage rates approved. These should be in place by July 1st. The new rates are as follows. $1.50 a foot on boat length, for boats up to 18 feet long $2.00 a foot based on boat length, for boats from 19 feet to 24 feet long$2.50 a foot based on boat length, for boats longer than 24 feet

So now we will have a dry moorage cost of $40.00 per month, that’s less than that health club membership that you never use. So spread the word and lets build Fleet 8.

Who Built Me

Response to a letter requesting any knowledge of the above vessel by James Weber.

I worked for a company called Land and Sea Corp. in the early 70’S. This boat looks like one of their hulls, they had a fly bridge just as described. I don’t know what happened to them. Every once in awhile I still see one, hope this helps.

Ed Gomez Dana Point, Ca.

The info from Ed Gomez was great, thank-you for passing it on. I found a couple 1973s, one had a single GM IO engine, the other has twin Volvo straight 6s (I’m presuming “Penta”). Now, if I could find specifications and photos of a 1980 or 81, my quest will be done. Again, Thank-you and Mr. Gomez for all the help.
