just in time for this weekend’s National Bank Easter Seals WAVES Regatta at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. Over 67 boats participated in the keelboat weekend, and helped raise $190,000 for Vancouver Easter Seals House. Funds raised by the event support the day-to- day operations of this special place. “We are deeply touched by the
generous support of all the boat sponsors and boat skippers as well as the many spectators and volunteers who participated in this weekend’s event,” said Easter Seals President and CEO Stephen Miller. “Along with all of our sponsors, your efforts will help comfort children and their families who need to come to Children’s Hospital for urgent care. Thank you!”

Cup was awarded to Jolly Olly IV, skippered by Vern Ruskin. This year’s top fundraising skipper was Rick Reynolds, who raised $7,000. Division 1: Shazam, Steve Crowe Division 2: Brigadoon, Andy Allen Division 3: Sam I Am, John Hilton This important event would not
