Harry Baker, Tony Pellegrino and Helen Baker. Harry and Helen both have worked tirelessly to keep lands open across the state, most recently Harry has testified in front of a senate hearing in Washington DC, and attended all the scoping and government meetings for Johnson Valley. Harry is known as the Map Maker as his maps have been used by government and OHV to settle disputes. Harry is the
South District VP of CAL 4 Wheel. Helen is the past Co Chair of the Cal4 Sweepstakes vehicles (with Harry). Tony Pellegrino, owner of Genright Products, sponsors various off road events. He is a member of Corva, Cal4 and more, and always attends the Legislative Day. He is a racer and off roader and works to keep the land open. He is a true promoter of OHV. — Terry Work

We, as a family, have been volunteering at off-road events since 2007. I used to race Dist. 37 & 38 back in the 70’s, and this is my way of giving back for those that were out there for me when I raced. Plus it gives us some kick butt seats for some of the best racing in the world!! We’ve volunteered as Pit Captains, Paved Road monitors, Flag & Check Persons, and we usually stick around after the race to do course clean-up. We’ve only missed a few BITD races since 2007, and have also helped out at many Whiplash races since 2008. This is my wife, two
Daughters and me at the 2009 Parker 425. Now that the girls have moved away, helping at the races is a great way for us to get together and participate in the thing we all love, OFF-ROADING!! — Robert Laxton
