Trend launches new Craftsman Router Table Trend has launched a new version of the Craftsman Router Table. The CRT/MK3 has a laminated MDF table-top with a removable aluminium insert plate with insert rings. This plate has a leveling facility and can also be screwed to the table-top for added security. The plate aperture has a diameter of 98mm to allow for the largest panel raiser cutters and is capable of accepting the Quick Raiser™ fitting kit for the Trend T11 router.
This new table also includes a lead on pin for bearing guided curved work and a pin storage park. The 240v No Volt release switch is supplied as standard and can be positioned to the front right or right hand side of the table. The CRT/MK3 has a quick release fixing extruded aluminium back fence with laminate-faced MDF sliding cheeks to reduce the aperture. This back fence has a 57.5mm dust spout aperture and a T-slot in the top to take future accessories. Further safety features of the CRT/MK3 include top and side finger pressure guards and a polycarbonate guard that can be raised separately to the top pressure for curved work. An adjustable angle mitre fence with spring locator and setting stops for angles are also useful additions to the CRT/MK3.
Steel legs with rubber feet and full perimeter rails provide stability and a convenient pushstick with its own storage park complete this new table. The CRT/MK3 is CE certified and has been tested to EN60745-1:2006 Annex M – Safety of working stands for operation with hand-held motor operated electric tools.
The CRT/MK3 is priced from £199.00 excluding VAT, and is available from Trend Routing Centres and stockists.
