Snap-on Announces Introduction Of Powerful New Poweredge
Diagonal Cutters Snap-on Tools, brand leader in tools, tool storage and diagnostic equipment for the automotive industry, has announced the latest addition to its tool range – powerful and strong new PowerEdge diagonal cutters. Snap-on’s new PowerEdge technology provides superior cutting strength and increased durability. There are two new diagonal cutters in the range – a diagonal cutter and a high leverage diagonal cutter – and each has been designed so that they remain powerful and strong, even after 5,000 cuts.
They come with tapered blades to increase power at the joint, enabling the mechanic to cut thicker wire and provide finesse at the tip for thinner wire. Each has an ergonomic contour push-and-grip, with the handle having 24% increased cutting leverage for supreme comfort and control. They are induction hardened and precision sharpened using CNC technology. Differential heat treatment produces strength and toughness in desired areas. The top-of-the-range 388CF High Leverage Diagonal Cutter (pictured) has been designed with a 30° inclined cutting edge which makes it easier to reach into confined areas to get a tight grip on stubborn cotter pins. Its high leverage design means less effort is required to snip through music wire up to .072 diameter.

New Double Maganetic Holder from USH

The holder is ideal for kitchen fitters and dry liners, in fact anyone using wood screws.
One magnet holds the screwdriver bit, the other holds the screw. It takes up to 1kg in weight to separate the screw from the holder so can be used single handed.
