Refl ecting the growing demand for energy saving commercial lighting control, Helvar has launched its next generation software suite, Touch Studio. Representing a signifi cant advance in lighting management, the unique Helvar control package bridges the gap between effi cient building wide monitoring and control and scene setting capability for specifi c areas. Forming part of a building’s networked systems, Touch Studio allows lighting to be operated via PC – both centrally and from individual workstations. Linked to Helvar’s Imagine or DigiDim router systems, the software enables facilities managers to programme preset lighting patterns, for optimum effi ciency, but also, through fully customisable on screen control panels, for staff to adjust lighting levels to match the task in hand. Touch Studio’s Editor function offers a selection of user interface templates that can be easily personalised to include a variety of buttons, sliders and backgrounds to create a user friendly touch panel. Project designs and lighting scenes can be saved for future use and, combined with the software’s Runtime facility, Touch Studio combines instantly adaptable lighting with intuitive control and system monitoring.
