Natural Leed-ership
The designer of this 2,190-sq. ft. contemporary house plan saw our April plans issue and sent us this model. He says it has already been built to LEED platinum certification in Portland, Oregon (by Rivoli Construction). Some of those LEED points came from good site selection, landscaping, and so on, but many other details are fully detailed in the blueprints and documents for the plan. In other words, when you purchase this plan, you get a virtual cookbook for a LEED home, highlighting specific construction details and product upgrades that will help streamline your LEED certification process.
