CONSUMPTION VS. PRODUCTION
Beginning with a smart panel that enables homeowners to monitor and control their energy use by circuit, the Computerized Electricity Systems residential system is a perfect tracker for a net-zero-capable house. Software installed in the homeowner’s computer (panel interface) shows each labeled circuit, which enables the user to power on or off strategically.


The system makes it possible to track energy production from solar or other alternate sources to the utility grid (see diagram), at the same time as consumption, enabling homeowners to see their energy balance daily, weekly, monthly, and annually. This system also does the math, calculating the net kilowatt hours purchased/sold. A couple of key-strokes make the information instantly available.
