Johns Manville’s ComfortTherm poly-encapsulated Formaldehyde-free fiberglass insulation products are ENERGY STAR-rated and carry a range of thermal efficiency ratings (R-11 – R-38). Lightweight and made of long, resilient glass fibers bonded with an acrylic thermosetting binder, the pre-cut batts and rolls are wrapped in plastic for a cleaner, more comfortable installation with less itching and dust. The plastic facing also serves as a vapor retarder that resists water vapor transmission. An alternative, non-vapor retarding plastic is also available for hot and humid climates. JM ComfortTherm insulation is also non-corrosive and mold-resistant and does not settle, breakdown or sag due to vibration.

BASF OPEN CELL ENERTITE
Enertite is a low-density, open-cell, spray-applied polyurethane foam insulation that is applied as a liquid, but quickly expands into a foam many times its original size, filling wall cavities. As a result, it easily flows in and around difficult-to-reach areas such as pipes and wiring. It is also suitable for floor and between rafter insulation jobs. Enertite also fulfills one of the objectives of the Building America program by fulfilling many needs and objectives at once; for instance, while the seamless seal it provides certainly improves energy efficiency, it also serves as a barrier against unwanted outdoor sounds. Other benefits include good adherence to the walls, as it will not sag over time.

VELUX LIGHTBLOCK BLINDS
Lightblock blinds feature an energy-efficient aluminum coating on the exterior side that acts as a heat barrier, increasing energy efficiency by up to 20%, while also reducing heating and cooling costs due to the better natural climate control of the room.
