Clayton. Muriel, ever popular, passed away on Tuesday 14th June, just over two months after her husband Russell’s death.A great piping enthusiast and student of piobair- eachd, for years Muriel used to man the College of Piping shop stand

Piobaireachd Society Conference. Together Russell and Muriel (pictured) were mainstays of the Scottish Piping Society of London throughout the ’80s and in stewarding and organising became well known to competing pipers the world over. On retiring they moved to Onich in theWest Highlands where they spent many happy days keeping in touch with the piping scene through the PipingTimes and regular visits from friends and acquaintances.
