The collaboration with partner organizations allows The YMCAs of Québec to benefit from the sharing of expertise in various domains and to closely monitor the changing needs of communities. The YMCAs of Québec helps implement exemplary practices for the development and well-being of youth, families, seniors, and communities.


Establishing partnerships with educational institutions, agencies, community organizations, and the corporate world is crucial to building stronger and healthier communities. The YMCAs of Québec works hand in hand with over 700 partners:


• Over 110 schools in twelve school boards across Québec;


• Approximately 10 post-secondary institutions;


• Over 350 community and recreation organizations, including approximately 100 youth organizations;


• Over 90 organizations dedicated to protecting the environment or the promotion of sustainable practices;


• 6 international cooperation organizations;


• Approximately 40 round tables or collaborative initiatives;


• A dozen or so hospitals and clinics;


• Approximately 50 ministries and public or parapublic institutions;


• 3 halfway houses and 3 detention centres.
