DHL seals Singapore deal

HL Global Forwarding Singapore and Singapore Airlines (SIA) have agreed a deal that will see the freight forwarding arm of DHL in


Germany and Singapore to all its network destinations and offices worldwide. Covering both air and ocean freight


forwarding, as well as some inland transportation, the deal became effective on 15 January but is expected to begin rolling out in China and Germany in April and May. Sam Ang, CEO, Southeast Asia


at DHL Global Forwarding, observed: “This is a prestigious win for DHL and we look forward to bringing our worldwide logistics and international knowledge and expertise to this project. “We are confident that DHL can


help Singapore Airlines deliver reduced costs and enhanced logistics efficiency”, Ang added.
