- Apprenticeship programmes providing long-termemployment opportunities


- Volunteer-led skills workshops in basic DIY for vulnerable groups.

Whatwe do:


• We have a teamof ambassadors who work with schools to improve the image of the industry and encouragemore applications fromyoung people


• We play a positive role in industry-wide initiatives, such as those led by the UK Contractors Group


• We require our supply chain to have an equality and diversity policy in place and we make available our equality and diversity awareness


training package for their use


• We provide trade apprenticeships for people from our local communities and work with our sub-contractors to do the same


• We are sponsors of the nationalWomen in Construction awards


• We are recognised by the organisation,Women in Science, Engineering and Technology.


We actively participate in industry-wide initiatives to support and promote diversity within the construction industry.
