Wax mounting system


Superabrasives specialist Engis has introduced its advanced wax mounting system to the UK wafer polishing and optics market. The modular system, which has been designed to be fast and easy to use, allows for repeatable wax bond thickness, provides improved part fl atness and thickness, and requires minimal operator skill and intervention. Tower Optical has released a series of stock micro-prisms with sizes from 0.5mm to 5.0mm for development of fi bre optic and medical products. The size range of these prisms allows miniature packaging of solid-state lasers and associated optical components. The prisms are right angle type and are one-half of a cube. of micro prisms contains nine members including 0.5 mm, 0.7mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm,
