web-based service to search for coatings in the range from UV to IR, to confi gure coated laser optics individually and to enquire about them directly.

Coated optics from the Loop stock can be shown and ordered online, with shipping at the same working day for orders placed before 1pm German time. The pool of coatings and available components is continuously being enlarged.

Loop offers a guided tour

through the various available coating types. Users are invited to adjust coatings and substrates according to their individual specifi cations or to defi ne customer-owned substrates for job coating. www.laseroptik.de

The laser stabilisation devices of Mrc systems are used to stabilise laser beam positions and directions against different fl uctuations like thermal or mechanical drift, laser beam pointing, vibrations and shocks. Additional applications are the adjustment of laser setups that are distributed over several optical tables. The standard systems comprise a closed-loop controller and one or two pairs of position detectors and steering mirrors. The user can choose between

different types of detectors and mirror mounts. In a typical layout the beam position is detected behind high-refl ection mirrors, which are already existing in the laser setup. In any case the stabilisation device can easily be inserted into running systems. The MRC systems are characterised by high intrinsic stability without the need of user interactions. They offer several functions that guarantee a user-friendly and safe operation. Typical accuracies are in the range of (sub-) microns. www.mrc-systems.de

newport will showcase its latest range of industrial lasers, scientifi c lasers, photonic components and instruments. Booth highlights will include Spitfi re Ace, a technically-advanced, ultrafast

ocean optics will display many of its new products, including the STS microspectrometer for OEM applications or the new low stray light Torus spectrometer. Also new will be the SpectroCam, a multi-spectral imager that

On the industrial laser side, Mosaic 532- 11, a new product platform in the Q-switched diode-pumped solid- state (DPSS) industrial laser family will be showcased. It combines laser head and power supply into a single package, making it easy to integrate into machine tools and onto gantry systems. Newport will also present the new Nstruct instrument management software platform created to simplify installation and to provide quicker
