The Business Travel Conference (October 17-18) provides the perfect opportunity for buyers and suppliers to network informally and professionally, and to share ideas, issues and inspiration


AS WELL as the comprehensive range of workshops and conference sessions at this year's TBTC, the event gives delegates the chance to make contact with over 60 key business travel exhibitors. Held at the Novotel London West, Hammersmith,


the exhibition is an integral part of TBTC. Held in a relaxed and professional atmosphere, delegates will have time between sessions to meet suppliers, discuss their products and learn more about how these suppliers can help them and their company.

• Amadeus will be on hand to discuss its new report 'Navigating the Airport of Tomorrow' which identifies changing attitudes to the modern airport and charts the technologies that will deliver the 'total travel experience'.


• Bridgestreet Worldwide has launched a mobile application for the iPhone giving instant access to its 20,000 locations worldwide. The app is available as a free download from iTunes.


• Citadines Trafalgar Square is undergoing a multimillion pound refurbishment. Situated between Trafalgar Square and Embankment tube station, the property offers apartment-style accommodation for one night or several weeks.


• With 15 daily flights via Dubai to over 100 destinations worldwide, Emirates has now expanded its Airbus A380 routes into Shanghai.


• Citybase Apartments specialises in London apartments, other UK cities, and most major worldwide business locations. They will be at TBTC’11 to showcase the largest selection of UK serviced apartments.


• Hotelscene is returning to TBTC for a second year and will be showcasing new products including an online solution for managing meetings and events, called MyEvent, and a bespoke analysis tool called FocusPoint.


• Skyline Worldwide has a new office in Brazil and new blocks of serviced apartments in Canary Wharf and The City. Average rates are £120 per night.
