Spotlight on sweepers
The CV show will also have a dedicated street sweepers section. Within this, Johnston Sweepers will have four sweepers on display. These include the neat 1m³ sub-compact CN101 with a four-wheel steer option, which can “turn on a sixpence” and clean safely in pedestrian zones, along with its larger companion the 2m³ CX200 which claims to use up to 40% less fuel than comparable sweepers. Heavy duty cleansing is covered by Johnston’s truck range with the VT551 on a Slimline Mitsubishi chassis and 4.85m³ payload plus Grandfather Rights licence requirements. Also showing is the VT650.
Hako Machines will be showing its Citymaster range of outdoor cleaning machines including the Citymaster 1200, a sub-compact sweeper, the 1200 streetwasher, and the 2000 compact sweeper. As well as the machines, Hako will showcase its range of winter maintenance accessories that make the Citymaster range one of the most versatile on the market. The snow brush, grit spreader and snow plough ensure that the machine stays on the roads all year round. Dulevo will show its range of road sweepers at the show for the first time as well as introduce its UK dealer support network. Dulevo’s mechanical section sweepers offer a different sweeping solution to conventional truck-mounted vacuum sweep- ers. The key benefits are faster sweeping with reduced noise emissions, sweeping without the use of water whilst picking up much larger pieces of waste. Dulevo will be exhibiting an 850 mini sweeper with 1 tonne payload, a 200 Quattro with 2.5 tonne payload and a 5000 Evolution sweeper with 5 tonne payload.
