2010-2011 General Orders No. 5
1. We must call your attention to the importance of sending installation reports with the proper information to your Department and to National Headquarters. All Auxiliaries are advised that they MUST give the amount of annual dues on the Installation Report forms.
Bond applications will be sent to the District President after receipt of the Department Installation reports, starting June 15.
2. Auxiliaries are reminded that the Auxiliary Charter is not to be altered in any way. Charters may be framed but are not to be laminated, matted or glued to any surface. In the event a change is required, the Charter shall be rolled (not folded) and returned to National Headquarters in a mailing tube, along with a request for the required change and payment, if applicable.
4. Your attention is directed to the National Bylaws, Article III, Section 305 - National Convention, which states: Delegates and Alternates to the National Convention shall be elected at the last regular meeting in June; one (1) Delegate and one (1) Alternate for each fifty (50) members or

fraction thereof in good standing in the Auxiliary on the date of election of Delegates. The Auxiliary Secretary shall send the names of the Delegates and Alternates to the National Secretary prior to the National Convention. Names only - no checks!
5. Delegates’ credentials will be
furnished by the National Secretary, provided an Installation Report for 2011-2012 has been received at National Headquarters by July 10. Credentials will be forwarded to the Auxiliary President after July 10 for the number of delegates to which the Auxiliary is entitled based on June 30 membership. Delegates are required to have their credentials and current dues card with them when they register as a Delegate at National Convention. Credentials are not issued for Alternate Delegates.
6. Any Department that adopts, amends or revises the Department Bylaws shall submit two (2) copies of the proposed Bylaws in their entirety to the National President within ten (10) days after the Department Convention for her approval before changes become effective.
