YOUTH DEVELOPMENT


YOUTH SPORTS Our Youth Sports program is co-ed and designed for


participant’s ages 5-17 (there are age appropriate divisions for each sport). These leagues introduce sports fundamentals to players and promote character building. Leagues are designed to take the emphasis off winning and losing. The season lasts 8 weeks and is offered year round.

Pee-Wee Sports Our Pee-Wee Sports program is designed to provide children ages 3-4 years old with a non-competitive, playful introduction to sports. YMCA instructors introduce and teach skills in a fun and progressive manner. Sessions are 6 weeks long and offered


throughout the year. Ages: 3-4 years Sports Include:

Tae-Kwon-Do Martial Arts The carefully structured program goes far beyond punching and kicking. Tae-Kwon-Do martial arts provides a comprehensive program for personal development. Tae-Kwon-Do martial arts instruction helps acquire confidence, respect, and self discipline. Ages: 4-7 years - Lil Dragons 8-12 years – Kids Zone 13 years & up - Teens & Adult

Youth and Teen Strength Training This course is a safe and fun introduction to healthy workout practices. Your 10-12 year old has an opportunity to exercise in the Cross-Training Center with instruction and supervision by a certified YMCA trainer. After completing this course your child may workout accompanied by an adult member in the Cross-Training Center. Ages: 10-12 years

Kids Cardio Are you looking for a comprehensive program for your child that will get them moving? Are they slowly putting on excess weight? Has a doctor advised you to get them into a fitness program? If so, this is the program for you! Please see group exercise
