Adult Basketball Men’s Leagues This program is offered to participants 18 years of age and older. We offer two leagues, one for men ages 18-29 and one for men ages 30+. The leagues are recreational in nature and include playoffs for teams that qualify. You can sign up as a team or as an individual. Each season runs for 10 weeks.


Pick Up Games If you don’t have the time to play in one of our leagues and you still want to participate in team play, then our pick up basketball times are for you. We offer several different days/ times for pick up games for members and non-members. There are no referees. Please visit our website for the open gym schedule.

Participant: FREE $10 day pass NEW Adult Women's Basketball League


Come and play 3-on-3, half-court basketball for women 45 and older. If you have the desire to play, regardless of skill level, contact us! We promote safe play, fitness and learning new skills. Whether you played in the past or you want to learn to play now, we’re here for you!


Monday Nights Games are 40 minutes each, between 7:00pm and 8:30pm Open gym practice is on Sundays 3:00-5:00pm


Adult Co-Ed Volleyball


This is a co-ed volleyball league for participants 18 years of age and older. The league is recreational in nature and includes playoffs for teams that qualify. You can sign up as a team or as an individual. Each season runs for 10 weeks, offered during Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer.


Outdoor Arena Soccer


Come play on the newest outdoor soccer arena in the area! We offer several different divisions for adult arena soccer including but not limited to Coed 18+, Coed 30+, Men’s and Women’s leagues. Team registration is preferred and we do have an interest list for individuals that are interested in playing. Seasons will run during the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer.


Gym Rentals


We have a double full court gymnasium that is available to rent for a nominal fee. For information on gym rentals or if you have any ideas or suggestions for Adult Sports programs you would like to see the Palomar Family YMCA offer, please contact the Sports Department at 760 745 7490.

CPR & First Aid CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillator) & First Aid


Learn how to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants, and children. Participants will learn how to use an (AED) on adults and children. Learn first aid skills for treating a variety of injuries, such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. Participants will also learn the proper procedures for dealing with sudden illness, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning.

Participation in this class certifies you in CPR for Adult, Child, and Infant. AED for adult and child as well as Basic First Aid. Price includes certification fee, books, and training.

Recording Studio


The Palomar Family YMCA has a fully operational recording studio. Individuals or bands who want to record demos or full length CDs can take advantage of the studio rental at competitive rates and these prices include a studio engineer.
