The benefits that we have experienced over the past year of having our family membership at the YMCA have been great. We have enjoyed all the different programs the YMCA offers.


My eight year old daughter looks forward to the Kids Cardio class every Wednesday and has enjoyed the Friday night Parents Night Out in the gymnastics area. My husband loves to play basketball while I work out. My three teenage boys have learned proper and healthier eating habits at the nutrition classes as well as learning proper weight lifting techniques and they have really gotten in shape this year. I lost 147 lbs back in 2006 so working out is a part of my everyday life to maintain my weight loss.


All of this has been possible through the YMCA Open Doors program.

Fitness Assessment


Establish a starting point, identify fitness strengths and weaknesses, and measure your progress with a fitness assessment. Conducted by a YMCA personal trainer, assessment includes body fat, cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, and flexibility. Reassessments can be done in increments 3-6 months after initial assessment.
