Where does body marking happen?
There will be no body marking. Tri tats temporary tattoo numbers will be issued at packet pick-up. There will be markers as a back up, if necessary.
When is bike check-in?
For the Collegiate National Championship and the Collegiate Sprint Triathlon, bike check-in will be between 5:30-7:30 a.m. Transition will close at 7:30 a.m. for all athletes. Collegiate Sprint Triathlon athletes will be allowed back into transition around 11 a.m. to set up their transition area.
Where is bike support located?
Bike support will be available by Velocity Pro Cycle at the expo from Noon-3 p.m. on Friday, April 8 and near transition on Saturday, April 9 from 5:30-8 a.m.
What if my T-shirt does not fit?
If your race shirt does not fit you will need to step out of the registration line and go to the USA Triathlon information table. USA Triathlon staff will help you make an exchange. Please do not try on shirts in the registration line. This will delay the process. You can try them on out of the line and make an exchange if necessary at the USA Triathlon information table just off to the side of registration.
What if I have questions about the course?
Please refer to the Collegiate Nationals section of
www.usatnationalevents.org and pages 16-20 of this program to view the course maps. Any other questions can be raised at the USA Triathlon information table just off to the side of registration or by your team captain at the pre-race meeting.
What if a volunteer can’t answer my question?
Please go to the USA Triathlon information table, and they will find someone to answer the questions you have. The USA Triathlon information table will be located near the packet pick-up area.
What is the purpose of the USA Triathlon information table?
The USA Triathlon information table is your resource at any point you have a question. A USA Triathlon staff member will answer course maps, race information and packet pick-up issues. During the first few hours of registration please note that this table will prioritize all registration specific questions above others to help keep registration flowing. As soon as a race official becomes available they will gladly assist you and field any questions you may have.
Where do I park?
Parking will be available at the CityFest Parking Lot (at the corner of Greensboro and University) and the Intermodel Facility (parking deck, at the corner of 23rd Avenue and 7th Street). You MUST park at one of these two locations. NO parking is allowed at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre or along Jack Warner Parkway.
