USA TRIATHLON
• Swim socks or neoprene booties are legal for the Collegiate National Championship and Collegiate Sprint Triathlon races.
• Athletes may want to wear earplugs and two swim caps for the swim depending on the temperature (USA Triathlon will provide athletes with ONE swim cap that must be visibly worn during the swim)
• If you have a latex allergy please let USA Triathlon staff know, and we will provide you with a non-latex swim cap.
WETSUIT RENTAL
USA Triathlon has teamed up with XTERRA Wetsuits to give USA Triathlon members a discount on XTERRA Wetsuit rentals. Rather than the $49 rental fee, USA Triathlon members will be able to rent a wetsuit for $39 with free ground shipping. Visit
http://www.rentals.xterrawetsuits.com/ to start your wetsuit rental process. The code to receive the discount is USAT.
SWIM WARM-UP AREA
HALO swim bench company will be sponsoring a pre-race swim warm-up area at Collegiate Nationals. This optional area will allow athletes to “wake up” the swim- related muscle groups before the starting plunge. Several HALO swim benches will be available along with pre-race stretching, warm-up accommodations and other amenities near the race start location. Visit
HALOswimtraining.com.
RESULTS
Each athlete will receive a print out of their times near the finish line (results tent to be located near the finish); however, full results will not be posted. Final results will be available at the awards ceremony. The race results will be official just prior to the awards ceremony.
