report to donors
he MOAA Scholarship Fund was established in 1948 to further the education of children of service personnel. Incorporated in 1993 as a separate organization, the Scholarship Fund was approved as a nonprofit, public charity
by the IRS in 2003. MOAA pays all administrative costs involved in operating the fund, so 100 percent of contributions the fund receives go to students. In the past 63 years, our scholarship donors have helped more than 11,000 children from military families pursue their undergraduate educations. Today, students are serving in the military, con- ducting research to find cures for cancer and other diseases, teaching in our schools and universities, holding public office, performing in sympho- nies, acting in theaters, and contributing to communities across our nation.
LEGACY CIRCLE The Legacy Circle comprises those who have chosen to include the Scholarship Fund in their estate plans by making a provision for the fund in their will or trust.
