Entry-Level Errors I’m puzzled [that] the Encore page only features stories about entry- level lieutenants and otherwise wet-behind-the-years young offi cers who invariably goof up. In my 22 years in the Air Force, I can assure you that mid-level and senior offi - cers also screw up, and at times with more serious consequences to the mission and to those serving under them, which is probably the reason I never got promoted “past my level of incompetence.” Come on you old duff ers, fess up — I’m sure your screwups at higher grade would make more interesting reading than when you may have gone wrong as a “green” lieutenant.
