The Greater London region office is located in Harold Wood,
he Greater London regional team takes great pride in providing support and help to its members, through branch meetings,

Its boundaries are predominantly based inside the M25, which comprises 609 square miles of some of the most densely populated domestic, commercial and industrial areas per capita within the UK. The Greater London region team is made up of Malcolm Conby as
manager, Emma Burgess as deputy and Kayleigh Durrant as secretary. The region has around 300 member companies, with a combined turnover of £2.4bn. These members belong to the South West Essex, Croydon or London branches.
Regional activity The Greater London region often
finds that it acts as a barometer for the rest of the UK, since events often start within the capital and then spread out throughout the country. Sadly, the recession has taken its toll within the region – despite 2010 producing a good crop of new members. Some long-standing members suffered company liquidation. This was sometimes due to cashflow issues, but others have simply given up trading in some of the hardest times ever experienced. Throughout these difficult times, the Greater London region has also seen a diversity of member applications, including one Russian and six Irish electrical contracting companies that have opened up offices within London.

The Greater London region has also seen a small number of applications from companies involved in outside film and TV broadcasting, offering temporary generation, power and lighting to Sky, BBC, and ITV. These are specialist companies that are involved in indoor and outdoor productions, such as the recent World Darts Championships, the visit of Pope Benedict and Premier
