Eugen Pai´c-Karega has been appointed by the Supervisory Board as the new CEO of UniCredit Leasing Croatia. He takes over from Mr. Luca Ziero, who took over new


important tasks within the UniCredit Leasing network as regional manager responsible for business operations in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Croatian, aged 40, Mr. Pai´c-Karega has a rich professional experience in the financial sector.


After graduating in Economics at the Zagreb University, he started his professional career in the Croatian


National Bank. He joined Zagrebačka Banka in 1998, initially dealing with finance. In 2001 he began heading the risk management department of the bank, being also a member of the Credit Committee and of the Assets and Liabilities Management Committee. Since 2005 he has been leading the personal finance business within the largest Croatian bank.

Manager to promote its Member Services initiative. Chris Whittaker has 14 years experience


within the financial services and will be


contacting NACFB members with advice on how Member Services can help their brokerages increase their income and services via a range of industry leaders.

Chris Whittaker said, “I intend of working very closely with NACFB members. The aim is to introduce and to help members make the most of the exclusive relationships that we have established in 2010 and explain the opportunities that are available in 2011, so that NACFB members can potentially increase their revenue for the year ahead.” Since 2009 he has been working as Head of Strategic Business Development Projects of the Czech UniCredit Bank.


The Financial Services Division of Siemens (“SFS”) has appointed Julian Hobbs as Director of Business Development to the Commercial Finance business with responsibility for the UK and Nordics. In line with the company’s growth strategy, this newly developed role is charged with significantly expanding the business both in new markets and existing business areas. Hobbs has more than 20 years industry experience, most recently as Managing Director at Deutsche Leasing UK & Ireland.


Julian Hobbs notes, “Because SFS has taken a careful approach to risk during the last two to three years, we are now in


a particularly strong position to support well managed organisations that wish to finance their growth through the economic upturn. In addition, our research shows that the use of asset finance is predicted to increase amongst smarter organisations who want to maximise their access to development finance at a time when traditional lines of credit remain fairly tight.”

Jakub Dusílek is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of UniCredit Leasing Slovakia, starting January, 2011.


He replaced Mr. Jiří Matula, who took over new responsibilities within the UniCredit Leasing network as regional manager responsible for several countries in the CEE region. Czech, aged 36, Mr. Dusílek has a solid professional experience in the financial sector.


Holding a master’s degree in Law of the Masaryk University, he completed the MBA management study at the Sheffield Hallam University (UK). After a short practise as a lawyer, he worked in the sector of pension funds in the Czech Republic until 2003, when he joined the UniCredit Group. Here he managed regional retail branches, the central unit of corporate banking management, and the retail segment and product management division.
